Statement from Oil Load Group
Oil Load Group is committed to supporting all efforts aimed at clarifying and improving the clearance process for our products in Afghanistan.
At present, over 400 of oil tankers are halted at the Mil-78 border parking lots. The Afghan government has indicated that this delay is part of an initiative to optimize and integrate the testing procedures for oil derivatives.
As the leading provider of quality oil products in Afghanistan, Oil Load Group fully supports any measures that enhance the business environment within the country. However, we urge the relevant authorities to expedite this process. The current situation is placing a significant strain on our transport fleet, and the drivers are enduring challenging conditions while parked at the Afghan border.
The Mil 78 parking facilities are not equipped for the prolonged stay of drivers. The conditions are substandard and unprofessional, necessitating immediate attention and resolution.
We call on all subordinate bodies to address these issues promptly to ensure the well-being of the drivers and the smooth continuation of our operations.
Our tankers are still parked in the parking lot, thank you for your support.
